(Gate 8 is now closed during the week so choose an alternate gate) parking @ Redstone Exchange Come ride with the Belles Mama Llamas! We will aim for 20ish miles heading to Carrol Hudson rec area then choose either the campground loop or warehouse road loop. To be determined by group that evening. (possibility of splitting into 2 groups) Pace will be determined by group and weather of the day but plan to be able to ride minimum of 12-13MPH avg and a good knowledge of gear shifting. Helmets, lights, reflective clothing and HYDRATION is a must have. Snacks and tire kit highly suggested. NRLB-leaders Barbie and Jessica and volunteers if we split up. * if you need an escort to access Redstone let me know on Monday and we can coordinate something.

**Be prepared to self-support the entire ride. Recommend three bottles of fluids or a hydration backpack plus plenty of nutrition** Start Coldwater Community Church, 618 Old Railroad Bed Rd, Fayetteville, TN 37334. The church is about four miles north of Taft and is a 45-60 minute drive from Huntsville. See the map link for directions. The route is overall fairly isolated and cell phone coverage is spotty to non-existent. The McBurg Community Center is at mile 23.8 and there may be an outdoor faucet available for a rest stop. Generally, riders are expected to stay together and watch out for each other. Expected end of ride average speed is 14-15 mph but faster on flats and slower on climbs. Starts at 8:30 am at Bonefish Grill‘s parking lot (4800 Whitesburg Dr. S.), 4.5 miles to Honest Coffee(SW corner of Clinton and Washington with lunch in Washington Park (sometimes to Gold Sprint Coffee or other agreed upon location for an extra couple miles each way) 4.5 miles back. Third Sunday of the month is pancake breakfast on Lincoln Street ($10 cash). Post breakfast Monte Sano option for a total of 24 miles. Ride Contact: Rob Hammond (Skinny Rob), crazybobs12(at)gmail.com, or Anita Tygart at 256-426-3646 for information on this ride. This is a casual ride. No racing at all. This is a very good introductory social ride just to meet people. All skill levels welcome.

Monday Jetplex Ride! Time 5:30 pm Meet up behind buildings at: 822 James Record Road SW, Huntsville, AL 35824 Group 1A 22+ mph average for about 32-36 miles. Group 2B 20+ mph average for about 26 -32 miles. Group 3C 18+ mph average for about 20 - 26 miles. There has only been two groups lately, B+ and C+. Please be able to hold your speeds within each group and ride safely in a pace line. No surges or hard breaking! Hold your line and feather your brakes to keep from overlaping wheels. If you are not sure then please ask someone! Lots of friendly cyclists out there! Front and Rear lights recommended. Ladies this week we will join up with the famous co-ed TT group for a Terrific Tuesday!! Wheels Roll at 5:30pm. Traffic is a challenge so allow yourself plenty of time. The pace is set day of ride as group needs are but in general an ability to ride at 12-13mph is a good base line. Route is 18-22 miles. NRLB. **RWGPS route is https://ridewithgps.com/routes/51651075** Start Hayes Chapel Baptist Church, 199 St. Clair Rd, New Market, AL 35761. Rest stop at Crossroads Market 10.2 miles. Enjoy a long and shaded descent into Teal Hollow at 11 miles. At 18 miles start the climb up to Crystal Ridge and at 20 miles take a moment to enjoy the view down into valley below. CAUTION, on Crystal Ridge Road due to steep descent and areas of bad road surface, especially at the bottom of the descent. Optional brief regrouping at Cumberland Presbyterian Church 24 miles. The final climb is Fish Hatchery Road up to our last rest stop at Flintville Mini Mart 32.5 miles, followed by scenic rollers back to New Market. Generally, riders are expected to stay together and watch out for each other. Expected end of ride average speed is 14-15 mph but faster on flats and slower on climbs. Start Huskey Park, 61 Florette Park Rd, Somerville, AL 35670. There is a restroom by the tennis courts at the rear of the parking lot. Please use the restroom at the park. Facilities are limited along the ride. We will take a quick rest stop at Tucker‘s Corner convenience store at 9.8 miles. We will take a bit longer rest stop Talucah Beach at 20.7 miles. There are no facilities at Talucah Beach, but it offers a nice view of the Tennessee River. Around mile 27.3 on Curry Chapel Road, you may be able to spot the majestic Belgian Draft Horses in the pastures. No major climb but abundant hills and rollers. Overall good roads, but there are some sections of rough road on the route. Due to fast moving traffic, use CAUTION on Highway 67 at 38.5 miles to the park turn at 38.7 miles.
