Starts at 8:30 am at Bonefish Grill‘s parking lot (4800 Whitesburg Dr. S.), 4.5 miles to Honest Coffee(SW corner of Clinton and Washington with lunch in Washington Park (sometimes to Gold Sprint Coffee or other agreed upon location for an extra couple miles each way) 4.5 miles back. Third Sunday of the month is pancake breakfast on Lincoln Street ($10 cash). Post breakfast Monte Sano option for a total of 24 miles. Ride Contact: Rob Hammond (Skinny Rob), crazybobs12(at)gmail.com, or Anita Tygart at 256-426-3646 for information on this ride. This is a casual ride. No racing at all. This is a very good introductory social ride just to meet people. All skill levels welcome.

Ride A Metric (RAM) Training ride The RAM series Distance: 10 miles If necessary, weather cancellation will be posted on the Spring City Cycling Club Facebook page. -- The RAM series is a collection of weekly rides that help cyclists advance their skills and ride longer distances. - Learn routes around Huntsville - Learn cycling safety - Learn cycling maintenance - Ride social - Ride for physical benefits The RAM series is an invitation by SCCC to local bicyclists. The goal of the RAM program is to prepare riders to be able to ride the SCCC All You Can Eat Metric Century (100 kilometers) on September 16. The RAM rides will start on April 27th with the basics of riding. Each week the group rides will increase in distance. Every ride will have a ride leader and a "No Rider Left Behind" policy. It is an excellent development program for riders to ride confidently with a group. Participants need to possess a serviceable bike and a moderate level of fitness. Wearing a helmet and having a tail light on your bicycle are required.

We’re biking and brewing May 5th! "Bikes & Brews and a bit of history" this month. Slow, group, social ride around the Depot grounds and downtown Historic Districts in between stops (you may even get some historic info along the way)! As always cash helps your bartenders, helmets are a good idea, don‘t forget your bike lights, and dress for the weather. Be safe…Pedal On!
