North Alabama Winter Training Series

We typically maintain an even Zone 2 (easy) pace with a couple attack zones. Riders will regroup after each attack zone. Every Saturday, watch for information on the maillists, or look for more information on Facebook .

Speedway Criterium training session

in West Park at 5:30p.m. on February 21st. West Park is near the Target shopping center on University Dr. It is a continuous one-mile loop which we will use for pace line training and team time trial.

SCCC USAC Spring Race Series

Alabama Wheelmen Speedway Criterium

Saturday, March 3rd at Huntsville Speedway. This is pre-season training event that will emphasize speed and sprints. This series will definitely help you prepare for a successful 2012 season no matter what level you are at. Click here for more information. Click here for online registration.

Rocket City Criterium (RCC) Races

2nd annual USAC RCC races in Huntsville coming May 19-20, 2012. State Championship Criterium, Circuit Races, TT and Kids Rocket Races! More details coming soon.

Tuesday Night World Championships

We start at 5:45pm from various locations. See the schedule:

• Will return with Daylight Saving time in the spring.

Thursday Night Training Ride

This ride is intended to be a hard (20-22mph), but steady paceline workout with no attacks. The riders will regroup at key turns or intersections along the route to wait for riders who may have been dropped. This ride is for riders who want to ride fast, and hard but don't want to get dropped.
Will return with Daylight Saving time in the spring.
